Women in Gaming Africa Prepares for Inaugural Conference in Cape Town

Women in Gaming Africa is finalising preparations for its inaugural three-day women’s conference, which will take place in Cape Town.
The conference will be held alongside SiGMA Africa, widely recognised as one of Africa’s leading gatherings for the iGaming industry. The programme will bring together professionals from across the sector to discuss opportunities, challenges and the evolving role of women in gaming.
Ahead of the conference, organisers will also host a special event to mark International Women's Day, setting the stage for broader conversations around leadership, inclusion and career development within the industry.
Lois Bright, who established the organisation to support and promote women working across the gaming sector in Africa, recently spoke to eNCA about the initiative and the importance of creating more platforms for women in the industry.
The upcoming conference aims to provide a dedicated space for networking, knowledge sharing and professional development, while also highlighting the growing influence of women across Africa’s rapidly expanding gaming sector.
