New York Mobile Sports Betting Sees Double-Digit Gains in July
According to figures released by the New York State Gaming Commission, the total sports wagering handle reached US$1.4 billion for the month, a 10.7% increase on the US$1.3 billion recorded in July 2024.
Mobile sports betting in New York enjoyed a notable boost in July 2025, with the state recording double-digit year-on-year growth in both handle and revenue.
According to figures released by the New York State Gaming Commission, the total sports wagering handle reached US$1.4 billion for the month, a 10.7% increase on the US$1.3 billion recorded in July 2024. Gross gaming revenue also climbed 10.5% year-on-year, rising from US$140.3 million to US$155.6 million.
While the results highlight a healthy upward trend compared to last year, they also mark the lowest monthly handle and revenue figures since August 2024 — suggesting that while demand remains strong, seasonal fluctuations continue to play a significant role in the state’s sports betting market.
