Merkur Gaming US Granted Nevada Licence and Acquires Gaming Arts
In tandem with the licence approval, the Commission has also given the green light to Merkur Group’s acquisition of Gaming Arts LLC—a licensed gaming operator based in Las Vegas.

Merkur Gaming US has been officially granted a licence by the Nevada Gaming Commission to manufacture and distribute gaming equipment within the state. The move enables the company to re-establish its presence in one of the world’s most prominent regulated casino markets.
In tandem with the licence approval, the Commission has also given the green light to Merkur Group’s acquisition of Gaming Arts LLC—a licensed gaming operator based in Las Vegas. The transaction is expected to complete in Q3 2025, pending final conditions.
Merkur Group was previously licensed in Nevada in 1998 but withdrew from the US market in the early 2000s. This latest development marks the company’s formal return to the US as a certified gaming equipment supplier.
Michael Gauselmann, Chairman of Merkur Group’s Supervisory Board, commented:
“With approval from Nevada, this moment serves to highlight and underscore the Merkur Group's legally compliant and forward-looking approach in all areas without exception.”
Merkur Group currently operates in more than 90 countries, while Gaming Arts holds licences in over 155 jurisdictions.
Lars Felderhoff, Chairman of the Management Board at Merkur Group, added:
"This license represents a key strategic lever for expanding our international business and lay the foundation for a stable and successful long-term future for the entire Group.”
The dual milestone signifies a major step forward for Merkur Group as it reinforces its global ambitions and re-establishes a footprint in the US gaming landscape.
