Court Date Set for Sorare Over Unlicensed Gambling Charges
The company rejected all three charges brought against it, which were revealed by the Gambling Commission last week.

Premier League partner Sorare is set to face trial in Birmingham next summer after pleading not guilty to charges of providing unlicensed gambling services to British customers.
The company rejected all three charges brought against it, which were revealed by the Gambling Commission last week. Sorare, known for its NFT-led fantasy football game, argued during a hearing at Birmingham Magistrates Court that the UK gambling regulator has "misunderstood our business."
According to a company statement, reported by The Standard, Sorare believes the Gambling Commission has “wrongly determined that gambling laws apply to Sorare."
The trial is scheduled to take place at Birmingham Magistrates Court on June 16 next year and is expected to last seven days.
