The current title holders began their 2024/25 campaign on Sunday with an emphatic 4-0 victory over Kilmarnock, unfurling the league flag before the match to celebrate last season's triumph.
In stark contrast, Celtic’s fierce rival Rangers started their league season on Saturday with a lackluster 0-0 draw against Hearts, a game so uneventful that it likely had fans switching channels to watch the Olympics instead.
Despite it being so early in the season, Paddy Power is convinced that Celtic will match Rangers in the all-time champions of Scotland list by claiming their 55th title this season.
In a post on Paddy Power’s X (formerly Twitter) account, accompanied by a laughing Brendan Rodgers video, it read:
