The role
Build and scale the core wallet and bonus engine behind a multi-brand casino and sportsbook platform used across regulated European markets.
SoftGenius supplies player account management, wallet and bonusing technology to licensed operators across Europe. The platform team owns the transactional core: wallet, payments orchestration, bonus engine and the reporting pipeline that regulators audit.
What you'll do
- Design and ship services in .NET 8 that handle high-volume wallet and bet settlement traffic.
- Own the bonus engine roadmap end to end, from schema design through rollout to live brands.
- Improve observability and reduce p99 latency across the transactional path.
- Partner with compliance to keep audit trails and regulatory reporting accurate per jurisdiction.
- Mentor mid-level engineers through design reviews and pairing.
What you'll bring
- 5+ years commercial experience with C# and .NET, including async and concurrency patterns.
- Strong SQL Server or PostgreSQL background, including query tuning at scale.
- Experience with message-driven architectures (Kafka, RabbitMQ or similar).
- Comfortable working in a regulated environment with change control.
- iGaming, payments or fintech domain experience is a strong advantage.
