Peter & Sons Enters Lithuanian iGaming Market Through Betsson Partnership
The slot developer has expanded its existing relationship with Betsson, launching a selection of casino games in Lithuania for the first time.

Peter & Sons has entered Lithuania's regulated online gambling market through an expanded partnership with Betsson Group, making its slot portfolio available to players in the Baltic country for the first time.
The launch, announced on 5 November, introduces several of the developer's established titles to Betsson's Lithuanian casino platform, including Ghost Father Awakened, Zombie Road and Barbarossa: Dragon Empire. Additional games from the studio's portfolio have also been included in the initial rollout.
Rather than establishing a new commercial relationship, the agreement extends an existing partnership between Peter & Sons and Betsson into another regulated jurisdiction. The expansion forms part of the developer's strategy to increase its European distribution through established operators with local market experience.
Peter & Sons Expands Existing Betsson Relationship
Founded in 2019, Peter & Sons operates from Barcelona and Yerevan, developing online casino games characterised by distinctive artwork, unconventional themes and narrative-led gameplay. The company has continued expanding its distribution network throughout 2026, including an integration with Finnplay's Titan platform in August.
The Lithuanian launch combines two of the studio's commercial priorities: entering additional regulated markets and increasing distribution through existing operator partnerships. By working with Betsson, Peter & Sons gains access to an established local customer base without needing to develop a new operator relationship.
Yann Bautista, Founder and Commercial Director at Peter & Sons, highlighted the importance of both elements to the company's growth strategy.
“This launch combines two important parts of our growth strategy: opening a new regulated market and expanding with an operator we already know and value,” Bautista said.
He also identified Betsson's international reputation and established Lithuanian operations as important factors in the decision to extend the partnership. The studio expects its combination of visual design, original themes and gameplay mechanics to provide a distinctive addition to the operator's existing casino portfolio.
Betsson Strengthens Lithuanian Casino Offering
Betsson has operated in Lithuania since 2016, when it entered the market through the acquisition of TonyBet. The business was subsequently rebranded as Betsafe in 2017 before transitioning to the group's flagship Betsson brand in June 2025.
The operator has maintained a significant local presence, including an office in Vilnius employing approximately 40 people across commercial operations, payments and customer support. Its continued investment in Lithuania has included both the expansion of its digital gambling offering and partnerships with prominent sporting organisations.
Betsson's involvement in Lithuanian basketball has been particularly visible. The company previously sponsored the Lithuanian Basketball League through its Betsafe brand, with the competition becoming Betsson-LKL from the 2025 season as part of the operator's wider brand transition.
Aurimas Šilys, Managing Director at Betsson, said the company was continuing to broaden the casino content available to Lithuanian customers. He identified Peter & Sons' distinctive artistic direction, original themes and game mechanics as qualities that would complement the operator's existing offering.
The agreement also provides Betsson with additional content as operators compete to differentiate their casino portfolios within Lithuania's regulated gambling market.
Baltic Launch Supports Wider European Growth
Lithuania operates a regulated gambling framework centred on licensed operators, consumer protection requirements and responsible gambling obligations. The market provides an established environment for international suppliers seeking to distribute their games through authorised gambling businesses.
For Peter & Sons, the agreement adds another European jurisdiction to a distribution network developed through partnerships with casino operators and gaming technology platforms. Its existing relationship with Betsson provides a route to further market expansion while allowing the developer to build on established technical and commercial arrangements.
The launch also comes during a period of revenue growth for Betsson Group, which recently reported record third-quarter revenue of €326.5 million, although operating profit declined during the period.
By introducing Peter & Sons' portfolio to Lithuania, Betsson is expanding its casino content selection while the developer strengthens its presence in the Baltic region. Neither company has disclosed financial terms for the expanded partnership or confirmed whether additional game releases are scheduled specifically for the Lithuanian market.
