Nordic Partners Gaming will host a Counter-Strike 2 challenge at AffPapa Conference Cancun 2026, taking place in Mexico from 23–25 November.

The activation will form part of NPG’s Esports Zone at the conference and will give attendees the opportunity to play against professional CS2 player Lukas “FreeZe” Hegmann.

Hegmann has competed professionally for teams including BIG, BIG Academy and ALTERNATE aTTaX. According to NPG, he has played approximately 8,000 matches and holds a career win rate of 57%.

Attendees To Challenge FreeZe

Throughout the event, visitors will be able to use the Esports Zone gaming setup and compete directly against Hegmann.

The activation is designed to provide attendees with a hands-on competitive esports experience while connecting the esports and iGaming communities.

NPG will also run a jersey giveaway, with participating attendees having the opportunity to win an official Nordic Partners Gaming jersey.

Håvard Lehn, Co-Founder and CEO of Nordic.Partners Group, said:

“We want people to experience esports, not just hear about it. Bringing FreeZe to AffPapa Cancun gives attendees a chance to get behind the screen, challenge a professional player, and see the competitive side of Counter-Strike for themselves. It’s also a great way to bring the esports and iGaming communities closer together.”

Esports Added To Conference Experience

Levon Nikoghosyan, CEO and Founder of AffPapa, added:

“We want to make AffPapa Conference Cancun an experience where people can do more than just attend panels and meetings. Having NPG bring competitive Counter-Strike into the event gives attendees a chance to get involved and connect with the esports community in a different way.

“It’s a great addition to the conference, and we’re looking forward to seeing attendees take part.”

The Esports Zone forms part of Nordic Partners Gaming’s presence at AffPapa Conference Cancun 2026 and follows the organisation’s expansion into competitive esports during 2026.
