Playnetic Expands Italian Presence With GBO Content Launch

Playnetic has expanded its presence in Italy after launching a selection of its casino games across Lottomatica, GoldBet and Planetwin365 through gaming technology provider Microgame.

The rollout builds on Playnetic’s existing relationship with Microgame, which began in 2025 and established a distribution route for the supplier’s portfolio within the regulated Italian market.

Three Playnetic titles are included in the latest launch: Bison Trails, Osiris Fortune and Joxer. The supplier said the agreement provides immediate exposure across established Italian gaming brands while creating a platform for additional releases over the coming months.

Three Playnetic Games Launch Across Italian Brands

The initial rollout features games offering a range of themes and mechanics from Playnetic’s portfolio.

Bison Trails is a 6x4 slot offering 4,096 ways to win, with free spins, Wild multipliers and a maximum win of 7,237x the stake.

Ancient Egypt-themed Osiris Fortune uses a 5x3 layout with 243 ways to win and incorporates an Ancient Riches bonus feature. Playnetic lists a maximum win of 2,587x the stake for the title.

Joxer is a 5x3, 20-payline game incorporating a Hold N’ Roll bonus alongside cash prizes, multipliers and a collector mechanic. The title offers a maximum win of 4,000x the stake.

The three games are being distributed through Microgame, which provides technology and gaming services to licensed operators in Italy.

Microgame Supports Wider Distribution

Microgame acts as the delivery platform for the new content, extending a partnership through which Playnetic first entered Italy in 2025.

The technology provider supports more than 50 licensed operators and over 120 brands, with its casino catalogue covering slots, table games, video poker and live casino content.

The latest rollout provides Playnetic with access to several established brands within the wider Lottomatica Group structure. Lottomatica and GoldBet operate through GBO Italy, while Planetwin365 is associated with PWO under Italy’s regulated gambling framework.

Using Microgame as its distribution partner also allows Playnetic to introduce additional games through an existing technical relationship rather than establishing separate integrations for each individual brand.

Playnetic Plans Further Italian Content Rollout

Playnetic Chief Commercial Officer Kai Botha said the launch represented an important step in the supplier’s Italian expansion.

“Italy is one of the markets every studio wants to be in and going live across GBO’s brands puts our games in front of a large, engaged player base straight away,” Botha said.

“Working with a group of this scale and through Microgame’s platform, gives us a strong base to keep bringing new content to the market over the coming months.”

Botha joined Playnetic as Chief Commercial Officer at the beginning of 2026, taking responsibility for the company’s Business Development and Account Management functions as it continues its international expansion.

The Italian agreement forms part of Playnetic’s wider strategy of increasing distribution through operators, aggregators and technology platforms in regulated markets.

Having already established its route into Italy through Microgame, the latest launch extends that presence across Lottomatica, GoldBet and Planetwin365, with further Playnetic titles expected to follow.
