Michigan iGaming AGR Rises 17.6% In August
Michigan’s online casino market recorded year-on-year growth in August, while adjusted gross revenue from online sports betting declined.
Adjusted gross revenue (AGR) from iGaming in Michigan increased 17.6% year-on-year to $290.8m in August, according to figures from the Michigan Gaming Control Board.
Online sports betting AGR fell 29.3% year-on-year to $24.2m during the month, bringing combined AGR from iGaming and online sports betting to $315m.
Total gross receipts reached $337m, comprising $303m from iGaming and $34.6m from online sports betting.
Sports Betting Handle Falls In August
Michigan’s online sports betting handle stood at $330.5m in August, down 7% from July.
On a month-on-month basis, iGaming AGR increased 0.1%, while online sports betting AGR declined 21.4%.
The figures reflect continued growth in Michigan’s online casino market alongside a decline in sports betting revenue during August.

Detroit’s three commercial casinos generated $109.7m in revenue during August.
