Gamblers Connect Introduces Proof of Play to Bring Verifiable Transactions to Operator Reviews

Gamblers Connect, the independent B2B iGaming media platform, has launched Proof of Play, a new verification method that documents real-money transactions carried out by its newsroom when testing gaming operators. 

Proof of Play records the deposit, play session and withdrawal process experienced by the Gamblers Connect team, replacing unverified claims about payment processes with documented findings published directly on each operator’s review page.

Every completed test records six fields: deposit method, deposit speed, KYC trigger, withdrawal speed, withdrawal fee and a transaction reference. Where a test uses a blockchain-settled payment method, readers can follow a link to the transaction on a public explorer and independently check the record. 

A central focus is the KYC trigger, which identifies the point at which an operator requires a player to complete identity verification. While deposit requirements are often clearly explained, the documentation needed to withdraw funds can be less apparent. Proof of Play records what was required during the test, giving readers a clearer view of the process. 

The first completed Proof of Play test is live on the Roobet operator page. Gamblers Connect is now retesting existing operator pages where the method allows, while all new operator pages will carry a Proof of Play record. Pages awaiting a completed test display a visible pending notice linking to the platform’s Proof of Play Policy. 

Proof of Play is a verification record rather than an operator endorsement. It carries no affiliate links, promotes no bonuses and does not refer players to operators. Each record documents the outcome of a specific test at a particular point in time, rather than making broader claims about an operator’s performance.
