Playson has expanded its Thunder Coins series with Thunder Coins XXL: BoosterCells, introducing a new mechanic that allows collected Coin values to increase during bonus play.
BoosterCells Adds A New Layer To Thunder Coins XXL
Playson has released Thunder Coins XXL: BoosterCells, the latest title in its Thunder Coins series, featuring the new BoosterCells Feature.
The feature is activated through the Bonus Game. When Coins land on reels 1 and 3 alongside a Thunder Coin on reel 2, the Bonus Game begins and the BoosterCells Feature is triggered.
BoosterCells stores collected Coin values on reel positions, allowing those values to increase during the round. If another Coin lands on a position containing a stored value, the two values are combined.
Thunder Coins can also randomly increase multiple stored values across the reels.
Thunder Feature And Bonus Options
The game's Thunder Feature is triggered when a Thunder Coin lands alongside any Coin symbol. It collects the values of all Coins in play, including one of four in-game jackpots, and adds them to the win for the spin in the Main Game or the Total Win in the Bonus Game.
Players can also access the Bonus Game through the Pile of Gold Feature, which can be randomly triggered when any Coin symbol lands on the reels. When activated, additional Coin and Thunder Coin symbols are added in sufficient quantity to trigger the Bonus Game.
Two Buy Bonus Game options are available, including a Super Buy Bonus Game that guarantees three active Thunder Coins.
The game also offers two Extra Bet options, including a Thunder Spin that triples the chance of accessing the Bonus Game and guarantees one Thunder Coin on each spin.
