IGT Appoints Former AGS Chairman Adam Chibib As CFO

IGT has appointed former AGS Chairman Adam Chibib as its new Chief Financial Officer as the gaming technology company continues to reshape its operations following its combination with Everi.

Chibib will assume the position on 1 November, subject to regulatory approvals, succeeding Fabio Celadon. Celadon will step down as CFO on 31 October but remain with IGT until the end of 2026 to support the transition.

The incoming CFO brings more than 30 years of financial and operational experience spanning the gaming, technology, public company and private equity sectors.

Chibib Brings Extensive Gaming Experience

Chibib most recently served as CFO of Raptor Technologies and previously spent more than seven years as Chairman of gaming supplier AGS between January 2018 and July 2025.

He also served as President and CFO of Multimedia Games, where he helped oversee a period in which the company's revenue doubled before its acquisition by Global Cash Access, which later became Everi Holdings.

His wider career includes CFO positions at NetSpend Corporation, TippingPoint, Waveset and BroadJump, as well as five years as a partner at venture capital and private equity company Silverton Partners.

As IGT CFO, Chibib will lead the company's global finance organisation and be responsible for aligning its financial strategy and capital priorities with the execution of its wider business plans.

“Adam brings the public company, private equity and gaming experience we need for this stage of IGT's transformation,” CEO Hector Fernandez said.

“His financial discipline and operating mindset will be important as we sharpen execution and strengthen cash flow creation.”

Celadon To Depart After Two Decades

Celadon will leave IGT after approximately two decades with the wider business, having joined following the acquisition of Lottomatica in 2006.

He held a number of senior positions before becoming CFO in July 2025 and will remain with the company for two months after Chibib takes over to assist with the leadership transition.

Chibib said: “I look forward to working with Hector, the leadership team and the finance organisation to strengthen financial and operating discipline, align capital with our highest priorities and build a durable foundation for growth.”

Appointment Continues IGT Transformation

IGT described the appointment as another stage in a transformation focused on operating discipline, portfolio performance and cash flow generation across its Gaming, Digital and FinTech businesses.

The company's current structure followed the divestment of its lottery operations and the $6.3 billion combination of IGT's Gaming and Digital business with Everi, a transaction led by Apollo Global Management and completed in July 2025.

IGT has continued to restructure since the transaction, with plans announced earlier this year to reduce its global workforce by approximately 10%, potentially affecting around 700 positions.

Chibib will now oversee the group's finances as IGT seeks to strengthen cash flow, prioritise capital investment and establish its longer-term growth strategy following the transformation of the business.
