LiSense Launches GB Licence Monitoring Platform With Bally’s, BOYLE Sports And Light & Wonder
The new compliance platform automatically tracks Gambling Commission licence changes, with Bally’s, BOYLE Sports and Light & Wonder among its launch partners.

LiSense has launched a new continuous licence monitoring platform for Britain’s gambling industry, securing commercial agreements with Bally’s, BOYLE Sports and Light & Wonder.
Operated by Li-Sense Technology Limited, the platform monitors more than 300,000 data points from the Gambling Commission’s public register each day. It is designed to alert businesses when the status of an operating or personal licence changes, reducing reliance on periodic manual checks.
LiSense Automates Licence Monitoring
LiSense identifies licence suspensions, surrenders, revocations and variations, with subscribers able to receive notifications by email and SMS alongside guidance on potential actions required.
Every identified change is recorded within a time-stamped audit trail, while licence histories are retained beyond the Gambling Commission’s standard three-year retention period. The platform also provides tools for monitoring annual licence fee deadlines, the statutory levy and economic crime levy.
Alongside operators and suppliers, LiSense is targeting businesses that work with gambling companies and may need to continually verify the regulatory status of their partners. These include affiliates, media organisations, football clubs, payment providers and search engines.
Andy Bentley, Co-Founder of LiSense, said:
“The Gambling Commission’s expectation is clear: checking a licence at onboarding is not enough – oversight must be ongoing. We built LiSense to automate both the onboarding check and the continuous monitoring that follows.
“It’s built by a team who have sat on both sides of the regulatory table, and understand that licences are a privilege not a right.”
Bally’s, BOYLE Sports And Light & Wonder Join At Launch
Bally’s, BOYLE Sports and Light & Wonder have been confirmed as the platform’s first named commercial partners, giving LiSense relationships with both operators and suppliers from launch.
The company is also working towards expanding its monitoring services into international markets, although it has not yet confirmed which jurisdictions it plans to target.
LiSense was engineered by digital services and cybersecurity company Presidio, while its founding team has more than 80 years of combined experience across gambling regulation, legal advisory and B2C and B2B operations.
Launch Comes Amid Increased Regulatory Costs
The platform enters the market ahead of a 25% increase in Gambling Commission operating licence fees scheduled to take effect in October 2026. A revised financial penalties framework, linking fines to a percentage of gross gambling yield, has also been in place since October 2025.
Between May and December 2025, the Gambling Commission took regulatory action against 13 operators for failings involving areas including anti-money laundering, social responsibility and technical requirements.
According to LiSense, more than £21 million was paid through Gambling Commission financial penalties and regulatory settlements during the 12 months to July 2026.
The launch comes as gambling businesses and organisations working with licensed operators face increasing requirements to maintain effective regulatory oversight throughout commercial relationships rather than relying solely on checks conducted during onboarding.
