Amusnet Gaming Strengthens Canadian Presence With Alberta Licence

Amusnet Gaming has strengthened its presence in Canada after securing a conditional licence from the Alberta Gaming, Liquor and Cannabis (AGLC) to supply online gaming content to licensed operators in the province.

The approval marks another step in the supplier’s North American expansion strategy and follows its entry into Ontario earlier this year.

The new licence expands Amusnet Gaming’s regulatory footprint in Canada, allowing the company to explore opportunities in Alberta’s newly regulated iGaming market.

Alberta’s Regulated iGaming Market

The Alberta iGaming market officially launched on 13 July 2026, establishing a regulated framework focused on integrity, security and player protection.

The AGLC oversees the province’s iGaming industry, including the registration and compliance of operators and suppliers.

Amusnet Gaming said Alberta represents an important jurisdiction within its long-term North American strategy, providing a regulatory framework for its future activities in the region.

Under the AGLC’s licensing framework, iGaming suppliers must meet requirements covering regulatory compliance, technology, security, integrity and responsible gaming.

By securing conditional approval, Amusnet Gaming has demonstrated that it meets the requirements needed to establish its regulatory credentials for future operations in Alberta.

Expanding In Canada

The Alberta approval follows Amusnet Gaming’s successful licensing in Ontario and adds another regulated Canadian market to its portfolio.

Julia Peeva-Sertov, CEO of Amusnet Gaming, said:

Securing a conditional licence in Alberta marks another significant step forward towards Amusnet Gaming’s expansion strategy in North America. Following our successful licensing in Ontario, this achievement further strengthens our position in Canada and reflects our continued commitment to the highest standards of regulatory compliance and integrity.

We look forward to exploring opportunities in Alberta, building strong partnerships, and bringing our diverse portfolio to another regulated market.

Amusnet Gaming said it remains focused on developing its presence across regulated jurisdictions and identifying further opportunities in North America and other regulated markets.
