GLI Receives Regulatory Listing For Uzbekistan Gambling Market
Gaming Laboratories International has been added to Uzbekistan’s approved testing laboratories, allowing operators and suppliers to use its certification reports for market entry.
Gaming Laboratories International (GLI) has been officially listed by Uzbekistan’s National Agency of Perspective Projects of the Republic of Uzbekistan (NAPP) among the laboratories whose testing and certification reports are accepted by the regulator.
The listing allows operators and suppliers to use GLI certification reports when launching gaming products in Uzbekistan, providing a route to regulatory compliance as the country’s gambling market moves into its operational phase.
Four licences have so far been issued to two operators in the market.

GLI Continues Discussions With NAPP
GLI said it had recently met with NAPP leadership to discuss the regulatory framework and how the testing laboratory could support the market’s development.
Parts of the technical framework are still being established, and GLI remains in discussions with NAPP as the regulator continues to refine the requirements.
Uzbekistan’s gambling framework came into effect on 1 January 2025 following Presidential Decree UP-68, issued in April 2024. The decree legalised online games based on risk, bookmakers and lotteries.
First Online Gaming Licences Issued
In July 2026, NAPP issued Uzbekistan’s first online gaming licences to Olimpbet LLC and Aurum Vale LLC.
The licences are valid for five years, running until 30 July 2031.
The approval of GLI’s certification reports provides operators and suppliers with an additional testing route as Uzbekistan develops its regulated gambling market.
