iGaming Roundtable Debut Event in Leeds Celebrated as a Resounding Success

The inaugural iGaming Roundtable event, which took place on April 1st,  has been hailed a major success, bringing together leading professionals from across the gaming landscape for an evening of meaningful networking and industry insight.

Hosted at The Lost & Found Leeds Club in the heart of Leeds, the event marked the first official gathering of the iGaming Roundtable community. Attendees included a strong mix of operators, suppliers, affiliates and industry stakeholders, all eager to connect, exchange ideas and build lasting relationships in a relaxed and engaging environment.

The success of the evening also reinforced how Leeds is rapidly emerging as a central hub for iGaming, with the city now home to a growing number of key brands and industry leaders. The strong turnout and calibre of attendees highlighted the city’s increasing importance within the global gaming ecosystem.

The event was proudly sponsored by Receptional, whose support helped bring the evening to life. A standout moment came with a speech from Justin Deaville, who emphasised the value of in-person collaboration within the industry.

Justin Deaville, Managing Director at Receptional, commented:

“Sponsoring the iGaming Roundtable was an easy decision. What Christian and Mark have created is a genuinely valuable community — one that attracts senior, switched-on people who are willing to share real insight and experience. Quite simply, you can’t replicate that on a Zoom call. There’s something about being in the same room — a good conversation, a glass of something cold, a bit of laughter — that builds relationships in a way that no amount of email can. Our thanks to everyone we met, for a brilliant evening. Huge thanks to the whole Roundtable community — we’ll see you again soon.”

Also reflecting on the success of the evening, Christian Hodges, Founder of the iGaming Roundtable, added:

“The first iGaming Roundtable event in Leeds exceeded expectations. Bringing together such a high calibre of professionals in one room and seeing the level of engagement, openness, and collaboration was incredibly rewarding. This evening is a true testament to the community we’ve built at the Roundtable — one that values genuine connection, shared knowledge, and long-term relationships. This is just the beginning.”

With strong attendance, insightful discussions and a clear appetite for more in-person engagement, the iGaming Roundtable has set a high standard for the second meet-up on June 17th at the same venue.
