Betfred Partners with BR-DGE to Enhance Payments Performance

UK-based bookmaker Betfred has entered into a partnership with payment orchestration provider BR-DGE to strengthen its high-performance payments infrastructure.

Betfred is implementing BR-DGE as its payment orchestration layer, enabling the management of both pay-ins and pay-outs through a single integration. The solution is now live in the UK, with further market rollouts planned. According to the company, the partnership is already delivering “strong conversion rates, improved speed and resilience, as well as an enhanced player experience at the checkout”.

During the recent Cheltenham Gold Cup – Betfred’s most successful to date – BR-DGE processed more than one million transactions across the four-day festival.

In addition to streamlined connectivity with multiple payment service providers and methods, including cards, bank-to-bank transfers and digital wallets, BR-DGE will also introduce layered pre- and post-authorisation real-time fraud and identity decisioning via specialist partner integrations. This is expected to support Betfred’s fraud prevention teams in maintaining control over fraud levels while ensuring a seamless checkout experience for genuine customers.

High-performance payments
