SBC Summit Rio 2026 Reports Attendance Growth as Brazil Market Draws Global Industry Interest
According to event organiser SBC, total attendance rose by 15% compared with the 2025 event. Operator participation increased by 16%, while affiliate attendance grew by 26.7%.

The organisers of SBC Summit Rio say the 2026 edition of the iGaming industry event recorded increased attendance, reflecting growing international interest in Brazil’s emerging regulated gambling market.
According to event organiser SBC, total attendance rose by 15% compared with the 2025 event. Operator participation increased by 16%, while affiliate attendance grew by 26.7%.
SBC also reported a rise in senior-level participation, with 37.8% of visitors identified as decision-makers, compared with 25% at the previous edition.
The event took place at the Riocentro exhibition centre in Rio de Janeiro between March 3 and March 5. Organisers said 60.8% of attendees travelled from Brazil, while the remaining participants represented around 100 different countries.
Rasmus Sojmark, CEO and founder of SBC, said the event highlighted the rapid development of Brazil’s regulated betting market.

Conference sessions during the event focused heavily on Brazil’s transition towards a regulated gambling framework. Speakers included Plínio Lemos Jorge, president of the ANJL trade association, who discussed the role of industry dialogue with regulators.
“The conferences bring together regulators and industry stakeholders, showing the regulator’s commitment to sharing information with the market,” he said.
SBC has confirmed that the next edition of SBC Summit Rio will take place between March 2 and March 4, 2027.
