1xBet Named Main Sponsor of Independiente del Valle
The partnership runs through 2028 and will see the betting brand integrated across the Ecuadorian club’s sporting and digital operations.
Global betting company 1xBet has signed a sponsorship agreement with Independiente del Valle, Ecuador’s reigning domestic champions, becoming one of the club’s main sponsors under a deal that runs until the end of 2028.
The collaboration launches under the slogan “Un Club Diferente. Una Apuesta Distinta. Multiplica el juego” (“A Different Club. A Different Bet. Multiply the game”), which the partners said reflects a shared focus on supporter culture, fan engagement, and a responsible and innovative approach to entertainment.
Independiente del Valle was founded in Sangolquí, near Quito, and reached Ecuador’s top division for the first time in the 2009–10 season. The club’s first major international breakthrough came a decade ago when it reached the Copa Libertadores final after defeating River Plate and Boca Juniors, earning the nickname “El Mata Gigantes”.
Since 2019, the club has established itself as one of Ecuador’s most successful teams. Independiente del Valle has won the LigaPro Serie A twice, in 2021 and 2025, lifted the Copa Ecuador in 2022, and claimed the Supercopa Ecuador in 2023. Internationally, it secured the Copa Sudamericana titles in 2019 and 2022 and won the Recopa Sudamericana in 2023. The team plays its home matches at the Estadio Banco Guayaquil, a 12,000-capacity stadium opened in 2021.
As part of the agreement, 1xBet branding will feature on matchday and training kits, stadium LED advertising, and the club’s digital channels. The partnership also includes fan-focused initiatives, such as a dedicated activation area near the stadium’s main entrance and promotional activities offering tickets and merchandise.
A 1xBet representative said the company was pleased to partner with a club that shared its long-term vision. “It’s a strong project with a fast-growing fan base, focused on youth development, innovation, tactical training, data analysis, and long-term planning. Our company wants to support the club’s growth and give Ecuadorian fans even more exciting moments,” the representative said.
A representative of Independiente del Valle described 1xBet as an experienced international partner, adding that the club expected the collaboration to help strengthen its position both domestically and on the international stage.
