FEATURE: Showcasing Innovation in Lisbon: What to Expect at SBC Summit 2025

With SBC Summit Lisbon just around the corner, anticipation is building for what promises to be one of the defining events of the iGaming calendar. From 16–18 September, the Portuguese capital will once again bring together industry leaders, innovators and decision-makers for three days of exhibitions, product launches, and strategic discussions.

At iGaming News, we’ve put together a special feature to gear up for the event. Below, we hear from the businesses at the heart of the summit — sharing the innovations, insights, and ambitions they’ll be bringing to Lisbon. From cutting-edge game design to smarter compliance, payments, and engagement tools, here’s what to look out for at SBC Summit 2025.

Greentube

Greentube to bring stellar cast of new games to Lisbon!

Greentube, the digital gaming and entertainment division of NOVOMATIC, is set to highlight its top-performing games at SBC Summit in Lisbon. The showcase will feature an exceptional collection of titles, marking the transition from a busy summer to a promising autumn lineup.

Inspired by Mexican wrestling, Lucky Luchadoras is a tumbler slot that encourages players to become legendary winners on the reels. Multipliers that can increase wins appear in the base game, while 15 free spins are available in the bonus round with a persistent multiplier that can reach up to 500x. An ante bet option allows players to double their chances of triggering the extra spins, which can be accessed immediately through the Buy Bonus feature available in certain markets.

Creepy Candy immerses players in the Halloween spirit with a 7-reel tumbling slot. Winning combinations highlight symbol positions, and subsequent wins on these same spots turn them into multipliers, with a maximum of 128x per position. Up to 30 extra spins are available in the free games round, offering players a chance to win up to 5000x their stake, while the wins are boosted even further in the Super Free Games feature, which can be triggered for 500x the total stake, where all positions start with 2x multipliers.

Starlight Jackpots™ Captain’s Catch™ concludes the new releases on display with a 5-reel, all-ways-pays slot offering 243 ways to win. The cash collection feature awards all visible cash values, with amounts reaching up to 250x the current bet, giving players access to the popular free games bonus.

Complimenting the lineup of fresh releases is the fan-favourite Diamond Link™ series. Top titles from this collection will be on display, including the summer hit Diamond Link™: Mighty Cleopatra, the winter favourite Diamond Link™: Mighty Viking, and popular slots like Mighty Sevens Win Ways™, Diamond Link™: Mighty Elephant Win Ways™, and the classic Diamond Link™: Mighty Buffalo.

beBettor

beBettor brings WealthScore™ to Lisbon

To support operators to sustainably grow GGR through higher first-time deposits, beBettor will be showcasing its proprietary technologies at the upcoming SBC Summit in Lisbon. beBettor helps operators increase first-time deposits without additional bonusing with their WealthScore™ solution, while supporting safer gambling through smarter, light touch financial vulnerability checks with V-Scan™.

WealthScore™: Grow first-time deposits sustainably

Through a single integration, WealthScore™ enables operators to personalise first-time deposit journeys with precision by using insights into a player’s position within the GB wealth landscape. This allows for highly personalised, data-driven deposit journeys, with suggested first-time deposit amounts tailored to each user’s financial capacity.

Generic onboarding experiences fail to capture the attention of players in a crowded market. WealthScore™ gives operators the intelligence they need to segment more efficiently and personalise smarter deposit experiences to grow FTD and GGR.

Given the direct correlation between FTD and GGR growth, operators who adopt smart deposits can re-coup marketing customer acquisition costs (CAC) faster, giving them the ability to justify more aggressive growth and expansion.

Increasing average first time deposits across large cohorts of wealthy new players represents immediate ROI in the short-term, consistently higher deposits over the medium term, and structurally higher GGR over the longer-term.

V-Scan™: Frictionless financial vulnerability checks

Alongside WealthScore™, beBettor will also be sharing the impact of its V-Scan™ - its real-time light-touch financial vulnerability check solution. In line with UKGC requirements, V-Scan™ helps operators meet regulatory requirements by checking all relevant data sources.

The result is tailored risk flags based on the severity of the vulnerabilities identified, with accompanying data to support each decision, which is valuable during audits and reviews.

V-Scan™ ensures:

  1. Frictionless user experiences with no credit impact
  2. High match rates
  3. Minimal business impact

With V-Scan™, operators can maintain a robust and compliant strategy, with seamless user experience and minimal business impact.

Operators and platform providers can meet the beBettor team in Lisbon to explore how its proprietary WealthScore™ and V-Scan™ technologies fit into their forward-thinking acquisition strategy.

Mark O’Neill, iGaming Licensing

I’m excited to be heading to SBC Summit Lisbon this September with the iGaming Licensing team, where we’ll be showcasing how we help operators and software providers secure trusted, cost-effective gambling licences.

iGaming Licensing is a new venture but it has been a long time in the making. The consultancy was born from our experience at Global Gaming Solutions, which has been supporting clients with tier-one and regulated markets licensing and compliance since 2023. That work gave us first-hand insight into the increasing demand for affordable licensing routes. While some companies require top-tier licences in markets such as the UK, Isle of Man or Romania, for many emerging operators those options are simply out of reach.

That doesn’t mean compliance should be compromised. From day one, our focus has been on helping businesses establish strong regulatory frameworks, no matter the market. By applying tier-one standards and best practice to more cost-effective licences in jurisdictions such as Anjouan, Nevis and Tobique, we enable operators to build a safe, scalable foundation for growth, while protecting both their players and their reputation.

SBC Summit Lisbon provides the perfect platform to demonstrate this approach. It also gives us the chance to highlight our recommendations page - a new resource on our website that outlines the jurisdictions we believe are best suited to different stages of growth. Carefully curated by our licensing team, this page is designed to simplify decision-making by giving businesses a clear, expert-led overview of their options. While every operator has its own priorities, we’recommitted to offering only those licences we can confidently recommend.

Lisbon will give potential clients the chance to meet our leadership team, who collectively bring decades of experience in iGaming regulation. We’ll be on hand for one-to-one conversations about market entry strategies, regulatory challenges, and how our trusted connections can help smooth the path to licensing success.

The demand for accessible yet robust licences is only going to grow, particularly as more businesses enter new markets and as player protection standards continue to rise globally. Embedding tier-one compliance standards from the outset isn’t just a best practice, it’s essential for long-term sustainability. That’s why we’ve built iGaming Licensing with a compliance-first ethos at its core.

We believe that by blending practical, affordable licensing routes with the rigour of tier-one standards, we can help ambitious operators scale responsibly and confidently.

If you’ll be at SBC Summit Lisbon from 16 to 18 September, we’d love to connect. Come and meet the team, learn more about our approach, and explore how iGaming Licensing can support your next stage of growth.

N1 Partners

At our stand, we’ll be showcasing not just products, but the full N1 Partners ecosystem. Visitors will see how our iGaming brands deliver high conversion rates, strong retention, and transparent analytics. We’ll also highlight our exclusive N1 Puzzle Promo, which has already gained huge recognition in the affiliate community, along with our approach to building long-term, trusted partnerships.

Our main focus at this conference will be to promote N1 Puzzle Promo running until the end of the year (with a real helicopter Robinson R22 Beta II as the main prize). Partners drive traffic and earn puzzles for FTD.

Since April we are guiding our partners along this path to the main prize. Each major event represents the next level on their journey. SBC Lisbon is another important stop on this promo adventure. In every city, we symbolically bring our partners closer to the helicopter with different vehicles: in London, it was a bus, while in Portugal N1 invites partners and booth guests to catch the wave of success – on a surfboard (yep, the country of surfing requires it like nothing else. Surf On the Waves to Success!

In the activities partners will get the opportunity to get additional puzzles for increasing their position in the leaderboard of the promo.

We made our stand truly interactive, because real partnerships happen offline – when connections are authentic and engaging.

Giveaway announcement: step on the balance board, grab a guaranteed merch item, and take your shot at the raffle!

N1 Partners will give away a certificate for an all-inclusive surf camp trip, which includes flights, villa accommodation, training with a professional coach, and a branded surfboard delivered directly to the winner.

How to take part? Visit our booth F84 to know more about the terms!

Here are some other awesome zones you can visit at our stand:

  1. Surf bar featuring bubble tea.
  2. A meeting room styled in the same concept and stuff vibe
  3. N1 Partners brand merch showcase

This year, the focus is on innovation, creativity and trust. Attendees want to see how brands can create lasting engagement: from AI-driven solutions and smarter automation to community-focused strategies, and inspiring brand solutions. At N1 Partners, we believe bold creativity and strong partnerships are what truly set you apart in a crowded iGaming market.

Khoren Kalashyan, Senior Business Development Manager at Logifuture

At SBC Lisbon, Logifuture isn’t just showcasing products - we’re showcasing a new standard for innovation in iGaming: practical, revenue-proven, and built to reshape how operators think about growth.

Our flagship product, Zoom, is redefining the sportsbook experience. Delivering a 30%+ uplift in turnover and adopted by one in three sportsbook bettors, Zoom integrates seamlessly via API in just weeks. It’s a clear example that innovation doesn’t need to be disruptive to be powerful - it can fit directly into an operator’s ecosystem while transforming performance.

Alongside Zoom, we’ll highlight Simulate, our instant-impact iframe solution driving a 5%+ turnover uplift from day one, and Swipe Games, a fresh approach to casino that contributes 10–15% of total GGR while introducing 57%+ first-time players to the vertical. Together, they represent an innovation suite that consistently turns engagement into measurable revenue.

For me, the key theme at SBC Lisbon will be applied innovation. The market is shifting from “what’s new?” to “what works, right now?” Operators want differentiation, not experiments - and that’s where Logifuture thrives. Every solution we bring to Lisbon is backed by hard data, proven results, and a clear path to commercial success.

We’re excited to meet partners, showcase live demos, and share how our products are not just following industry trends but actively setting them.

Max Collinge, Head of Product at Yaspa

I’m really looking forward to joining the Yaspa team at SBC Summit Lisbon, one of the standout events in the iGaming calendar.

It’s been a milestone year for us as we continue to scale rapidly – not only in the UK and Europe but also as we expand into the US. We’ve set up a US entity and are opening an office in Atlanta, Georgia, to build out our intelligent pay by bank proposition for operators and providers stateside.

On Wednesday, 17 September, I’ll be speaking on the panel Can an ethical VIP scheme be profitable? We’ll be exploringhow operators can balance player safety with data-driven loyalty strategies in today’s iGaming environment.

This is closely tied to my work at Yaspa, where we’re delivering intelligent payments and identity services to create powerful player management tools. By blending financial indicators and behavioural markers, our insights give operators the complete player view they’ve been missing - all while keeping the player journey friction-free.

I’m looking forward to a lively discussion, including the role AI can play in player management and how we can create more intelligent, personalised player experiences that promote sustainable gambling practices and simplify operational processes.

The Yaspa team will be at stand PP60 - be sure to pop along to say hello and find out about our Intelligent Payments and Safer Gambling solutions.

Sporting Risk, CCO Andy Phillips.

Sportsbook operators continue to face mounting pressure from regulators, rights holders and black-market competition.

The saving grace is that their customers surprisingly have been willing to tolerate higher margins in exchange for a product with higher entertainment value.

To deliver this, operators have had to offer more complex products via Betbuilders, player props and new engagement mechanics. And do so while ensuring everything is maximally available, editable, combinable, cash-outable, low-latency, properly risk-managed and promptly settled.

The speed, scope and complexity of these products makes comparison harder. Unlike previous product innovations, we’reless likely to see price sensitivity compete away the margin. Smart operators are giving some of that value back to the customer through more visible mechanics like Early Payouts, Super Subs and BetBoosts.

At Sporting Risk, we’ve spent the last four years building the back-end infrastructure to manage this new sportsbook layer. We’re now helping operators deliver on these rising demands and stand out in an increasingly competitive and technically demanding landscape.

We’re excited for the show. Some of the big questions for sportsbook right now that we’re helping to solve are:

  1. How to offer a more engaging Betbuilder product, in terms of UX, breadth of offering and innovation in areas like promotions and personalisation.
  2. How to better capitalise on the growing preference for fans to follow individual athletes over teams. Player props isthe obvious answer here, but as with Betbuilder, simply having them is no longer a differentiator. Operators need to avoid the common pitfalls of this challenging category and find ways to stand out.
  3. How to keep players engaged when sportsbooks are taking such a high margin. Boosts and bonuses are part of the answer, but have to be used strategically to drive maximum value.
  4. How to manage concentrated risk across infinite correlated combinations, both pre-match and in-play. That means understanding exposure in real time and being able to mitigate quickly and efficiently.
  5. How to surface the most engaging content at the right time, and do so at scale across hundreds of concurrent events, each with thousands of prices  being displayed to possibly millions of potential customers.

So while the operating environment is getting tougher, we genuinely believe we’re helping ensure the end user gets a better, more engaging product. And in doing that, we’re putting our operator partners in a stronger position to defend and grow market share.

WiseGaming Commercial Director, Steven Paton.

We’re really looking forward to SBC Summit Lisbon. It may only be the second year here, but Rasmus and the SBC team deserve real credit — this event has quickly become one of the must-attend gatherings in the iGaming calendar. The fact that it draws such a strong mix of LatAm, EU, and Asian stakeholders makes it particularly valuable for WiseGaming, as these are the regions where we see the most exciting growth. For us, it’s the perfect stage to share what’s next.

It’s been an exciting summer at WiseGaming. We’ve already signed two new white-label partners, each targeting multiple regions, with integrations well underway. On top of that, we have another multi-region white-label deal due to be announced just before SBC — a very exciting development for us and our partners.

We’re also in the final stages of securing an exclusive partnership with a government entity — a milestone that would underline WiseGaming’s growing influence in the industry.

Another big highlight is a soon-to-be-announced partnership with a leading KYC provider. This integration will directlybenefit end-users by making player onboarding faster, smoother, and more secure across all WiseGaming-powered brands.

And finally, we’re continuing to expand our ecosystem with new game studios and payment vendors, strengthening localisation for EU, LatAm, and Asia — which remains central to our growth strategy.

At SBC, we’ll keep it sharp and personal. Instead of broad stage demos, we’re offering live one-to-one walkthroughs with prospects — tailored sessions that show exactly how quickly an operator can launch and scale on our platform.

Demand for these meetings is already extremely high, so our availability is limited. But those who do sit down with us will get a first-hand look at our orchestration layer, white-label flexibility, and how our partner network drives speed and localisation in practice.

The biggest theme for 2025 is speed — speed to market, speed of integration, and speed in adapting to local expectations.Operators don’t just want a platform; they want a trusted partner who can move as quickly as their ambitions.

Localisation is another key trend. From payments to content to player journeys, the winners will be those who deliver authentic, localised experiences at scale.

And finally, exclusivity is coming back into focus. Whether through unique partnerships, standout features, or ecosystem access, operators want something that sets them apart. At WiseGaming, our recent signings and upcoming announcements — from white-label partners to government-level agreements — reflect exactly that direction.

Mark Phillip, CEO and Founder, AreYouWatchingThis?! and MetaBet

Are You Watching This?! is heading to SBC Lisbon with its monetization platform, MetaBet, continuing to set the standard for data and affiliate technology. The company has been nominated for two major industry awards while expanding its network with two of the industry's most prominent brands, Fanatics and Underdog.

For sports media publishers, the challenge has always been to engage audiences authentically while creating new revenue opportunities. As an original innovator in the space, MetaBet has long provided the definitive bridge between high-quality content and the betting landscape. The platform’s tools automatically digest articles and insert the most complementary wagering markets in real-time, turning a standard article into an interactive experience without disrupting the user.

This leadership has been strengthened by the recent addition of Fanatics Sportsbook and Underdog as affiliate partners, expanding the universe of betting options available through MetaBet's content integration tools. Game lines, props, and futures are already integrated, allowing MetaBet clients to promote both new partners via its suite of interactive widgets. The team continues to build on its core curation and discovery pillars, helping drive people to the most exciting games at exactly the right time by embedding relevant, real-time betting information directly into the content they are already enjoying.

This continued growth and innovation is reflected in MetaBet’s recent award nominations. For the fourth consecutive year, the company is a finalist for the American Gambling Awards' "Best Data Service Provider," a nomination presented by Gambling.com. This is complemented by a shortlisting for the SBC "Affiliate Technology of the Year" award, further cementing MetaBet's position at the forefront of the industry.

CEO and founder, Mark Phillip, will be a featured figure at the summit in Lisbon. In addition to meeting with clients, Mark will speak on the ‘Diversifying Affiliate Strategies – Thriving Beyond Google’ panel, discussing the need for affiliates to adapt, diversify and future proof their strategies. He’s also serving as a judge for the highly anticipated First Pitch 2025 competition.

For those interested in connecting in September, Mark will be at IBC in Amsterdam and SBC in Lisbon. Following the European tour, the team will be at G2E in Las Vegas, highlighted by a Happy Hour at Flight Club in the Venetian on October 8, 2025.

Symplify's Chief Sales Officer, Christoffer Feldt - Sørensen.

This year at SBC Summit, we’re bringing the future of player engagement straight to you. At stand C240, you’ll find AI and CRM in absolute cohesion empowering gaming operators to build smarter, more sustainable relationships with their players.

For us, retention isn’t just about sending messages ad nauseam. It’s about creating journeys that feel personal, relevant, and seamless across every channel. That’s exactly what we do. Our platform takes the complexity out of data and turns it into clear, actionable insights and triggers, so you can connect with your players in the moments that matter most.

SBC is also the stage where we get to share what’s next. We’ll be unveiling our brand-new AI retention models — built to predict player behaviour and propensity with even greater accuracy, helping operators understand and engage with their audiences in real time.

But we don’t want operators to just hear about it. We want them to experience it. That’s why we’re running live demos throughout the event. You’ll sit in the operator’s seat, launch a campaign in minutes, and see our AI in action as it recommends the next-best move for player engagement. It’s a chance to feel how effortless retention and acquisition can be when everything works together.

When we look at the conversations shaping the industry this year, three themes stand out: AI-powered personalisation, sustainable retention, and player protection. These aren’t just trends for us — they’re part of who we are. Our mission is to help operators grow responsibly while delivering experiences that players can trust and enjoy.

So, if you’re heading to SBC, come and meet us. We’ll show you how we’re redefining retention, how we can help you unlock smarter engagement, and how together we can build player journeys that truly last.

Kateryna Goi, Belatra CMO,

At SBC Summit 2025, Belatra will proudly present our complete portfolio of games — from our blockbuster hit Blast the Bass to fresh releases like Fortune Mummy, which expands our growing Mummyverse. Our line-up highlights trueversatility, spanning slots, instant games, bingo, and more. Visitors will experience our titles in demo mode, exploring the breadth of formats and gameplay styles that deliver unique twists on traditional casino entertainment. Beyond the games themselves, our stand is also a place to connect with Belatra’s specialists from all areas of expertise — development, design, sales, and beyond. This creates a rare chance for attendees to dive deep into both the creative process and the commercial strategy that shape our products.

We ran a full-scale marketing campaign for the SBC Expo — we released a new exclusive line of merchandise that will be presented at the exhibition, collaborated with a local Portuguese winery, which produced 56 bottles of limited edition 30-year-old port wine for us, created promotional videos, conducted a PR campaign and a social media campaign — so yes, it will be exciting.

At SBC Summit 2025, we will share a glimpse of what’s next for Belatra. While the event is not a stage for full product launches, it will be the first opportunity to hear about our upcoming roadmap. This includes several new slot releases in development, a fresh instant game, and the next chapter in the Mummy universe — a continuation of one of our most successful titles to date. These announcements underline our commitment to expanding both the variety and the depth of our portfolio, offering players different ways to engage with Belatra games. Visitors who join us will be among the first to learn what’s on the horizon and how these projects will build on the momentum of our recent successes.

Interactivity is at the core of our presence this year. Every guest will be able to try out our full game library hands-on, while our team guides them through the mechanics and design choices that make each title special. The Blast the Bass bar adds another level of engagement, turning our stand into a vibrant meeting place where gaming meets lifestyle. Exclusive merch drops will create an extra layer of excitement, ensuring that every visitor takes home not only memories but alsotangible Belatra vibes. For the keenest visitors, there will also be a fast-paced surprise challenge with an unforgettable F1 prize up for grabs. F1 fans will be thrilled because we will be giving away tickets to the spectacular F1 show, as well asboxes of our limited edition merchandise.

We expect two key themes to drive the conversation at this year’s SBC Summit: immersion and innovation. Immersion is about creating engaging worlds that players want to explore, whether through compelling narratives, unique mechanics, memorable visual and audio design, or themed experiences like our Blast the Bass bar. Innovation reflects the growing importance of fresh ideas in gameplay and player experience. Belatra continues to focus on developing content that surprises and excites, from inventive slot mechanics to new instant game formats. Discussions around player retention, community engagement, and novel ways to deliver interactive entertainment are likely to be central at the event — and we look forward to sharing how our upcoming releases and creative approach align with these trends.

Harpo Lilja, founder of Tugi Tark

2025 is shaping up to be a landmark year for innovation in iGaming, and SBC Summit in Lisbon is the perfect stage for operators, suppliers, affiliates, and industry visionaries to gather to shape what's next.

For Tugi Tark, it’s an opportunity to showcase the industry's only customer service AI software built specifically for iGaming.

For the first time at SBC, Tugi Tark will be introducing our new comprehensive dashboards. These powerful new tools give support leaders a complete command center: real-time visibility into team performance, inquiry trends, and resolution times. With these insights, iGaming operators can fine-tune their operations for maximum ROI and player satisfaction.

Beyond the live demonstrations, we’re eager to join the conversations shaping the industry and exploring a packed agenda of panels on the topic of AI. We are particularly looking forward to the panel: All In on AI: The Future of Player Experience in iGaming.

Stephen Davison, Head of Commercial Operations, Pythia Sports

2025 has been an incredibly busy yet rewarding year for the betting and gaming industry as a whole and Pythia Sports in particular. We strengthened our position as a trusted delivery partner by supporting the successful launch of Racing1 Markets. This has been a key milestone for us, underpinned by our risk management service, helping platforms and brands manage trading risk and customers effectively while maximising profitability and margin.

We also took to the sales ring with our breeze-up AI tool that has helped trainers, owners and bloodstock agents make informed decisions when purchasing new horses.

For SBC, we’re most looking forward to catching up with our current clients and meeting some new ones with some exciting partnerships coming together for the rest of 2025 and beyond. Lisbon is a fantastic city and I’m really excited to see what the SBC team has in store after last year's great event.

The agenda for SBC Lisbon 2025 looks incredible and the key themes of taxation in the UK, fraud prevention throughout Europe and how gamblers are improving their employer brand is what we think attendees will be most excited about.

Julian Pitts, Head of Commercial for RavenTrack

The RavenTrack team is incredibly excited for SBC 2025 after the inaugural event last year. We’ve been working on a lot behind the scenes, and this event provides the perfect platform to share what’s next for RavenTrack with operators and affiliates alike.

From streamlining reporting to adding smarter tools that save time, our goal is always to make performance marketing simpler and more effective.

Our team has been growing too! In just the last few months our sales department has doubled in size, and we have welcomed new account managers and client success managers to support our clients further.

Now we’re gearing up for SBC Lisbon 2025! We’re excited to share RavenTrack’s latest improvements, give a glimpse of what’s in the pipeline, hear fresh perspectives from operators,

We’re most looking forward to catching up with our clients and industry friends as well as spending time in the city that was once famous for its ravens.

We’re also crossing all fingers that this year we actually get to see the sun!
