Betano Becomes Title Sponsor of Portuguese Super Cup
The partnership takes immediate effect, with this year’s Supertaça – featuring Sporting CP and SL Benfica – officially named the Supertaça Cândido de Oliveira Betano. The match will take place on 31 July at Estádio Algarve.

Betano has strengthened its ties with Portuguese football by becoming the official title sponsor of the Supertaça Cândido de Oliveira, following a new agreement with the Portuguese Football Federation (Federação Portuguesa de Futebol).
The partnership takes immediate effect, with this year’s Supertaça – featuring Sporting CP and SL Benfica – officially named the Supertaça Cândido de Oliveira Betano. The match will take place on 31 July at Estádio Algarve.
Already active in Portugal for six years, Betano has a track record of supporting football at both domestic and international levels. The operator was recently confirmed as the official sponsor of the Copa América Femenina 2025, set to be held in Ecuador from 12 July to 2 August.
João Medeiros Cardoso, Director of Marketing and New Business at the Portuguese Football Federation, welcomed the partnership, saying:
“We embrace this partnership with great excitement, as it involves a brand that will undoubtedly elevate the Super Cup.
This marks a boost in the competition’s growth, driven by this new leadership, which will help reposition Portuguese football as one of the world’s leading footballing brands.”
