Patrice Evra Joins Stake as Global Brand Ambassador

Stake has announced that former professional footballer Patrice Evra has signed on as a global ambassador for the betting company, marking another high-profile addition to its roster of sporting personalities.
Evra, who retired from professional football in 2019, is best known for his time at Manchester United, Juventus, and Monaco, with a career that saw him lift 17 major titles. His accolades include five Premier League titles and a Champions League win in 2008 with Manchester United. Since hanging up his boots, he has remained a familiar face in football, working as a pundit and regularly appearing across broadcast media.
The French international now joins Sergio Agüero — another former Premier League star — in representing Stake as a brand ambassador.
Stake continues to build its profile in sport through a range of strategic partnerships spanning football, Formula 1, and mixed martial arts. The operator confirmed that additional content featuring Evra will be rolled out across its digital channels in the coming months, though the terms and duration of the agreement remain undisclosed.
Commenting on the partnership, Evra said:
“I am so excited to be working with Stake and joining the family. I am a massive MMA fan and Stake is a brand that everyone thinks of when it comes to the sport.”
Akhil Sarin, Chief Marketing Officer at Stake, added:
“Patrice is a footballing icon and one of the best players to ever play in his position.
“As much as his incredible credentials, we love his eccentric, larger-than-life personality and his strong opinions on the beautiful game.”
The partnership comes at a notable moment for Stake, which previously withdrew from the UK market following criticism over its social media promotion of OnlyFans content. Evra’s appointment signals a renewed effort to associate the brand with globally recognised talent, particularly within the UK football landscape.
