Betsson Lithuania Extends FK Zalgiris Sponsorship Through 2027 Following Rebrand
The collaboration originally began during the 2022–23 season, a historic campaign for FK Žalgiris which saw them become the first Lithuanian side to reach the group stages of the UEFA Conference League

Betsson Lithuania has renewed its sponsorship deal with leading football club FK Žalgiris Vilnius, extending the partnership through to the end of 2027. The move comes shortly after the company officially transitioned from its former Betsafe branding last month, aligning its local presence more closely with the wider Betsson Group identity.
The collaboration originally began during the 2022–23 season, a historic campaign for FK Žalgiris which saw them become the first Lithuanian side to reach the group stages of the UEFA Conference League — a milestone that elevated the club’s standing both domestically and in Europe.
In a statement shared via LinkedIn, Betsson Lithuania described the renewed sponsorship as a key element of its sports engagement strategy:
“This partnership, extended until the end of 2027, is a key part of our strategy to build meaningful connections with football audiences, and FK Žalgiris is the perfect fit.”
The company also highlighted a significant development for the club — the recent acquisition of its own stadium in Vilnius, which is expected to bolster FK Žalgiris’ long-term ambitions and community presence.
“The club has recently acquired its own stadium in Vilnius, marking a new era in its journey,” Betsson added.
“We look forward to supporting FK Žalgiris as they write their next chapter.”
The extended deal reinforces Betsson’s commitment to Lithuanian sport and underlines the group's growing emphasis on forging deeper ties with local fans and institutions.
