The company’s share purchase plan initially targeted US$1 million but exceeded expectations, attracting US$1.2 million in applications.

BetMakers Technology Group has secured US$13.7 million in new funding through an oversubscribed share purchase plan and an institutional placement, with proceeds earmarked for debt repayment and expansion across the United States.
The company’s share purchase plan initially targeted US$1 million but exceeded expectations, attracting US$1.2 million in applications. As a result, BetMakers is issuing 12 million new shares at US$0.10 each, which began trading today, Wednesday 9 July.
The share purchase plan adds to the US$12.5 million raised through an institutional placement announced in June, bringing the total to US$13.7 million.
Funds will be used to settle all outstanding debt and support new content and access agreements. This includes the previously confirmed US$800,000 acquisition of Las Vegas Dissemination Company — the sole provider of pari-mutuel wagering services in the state of Nevada — marking a key step in BetMakers’ broader US growth strategy.
