Evoke has officially opened the doors to its new Leeds office, marking a significant relocation from its long-standing base at the St Johns Centre to the modern West Village development.

The move brings an end to a 20-year chapter at the former location, with the new space set to accommodate over 750 employees across multiple departments. Designed with collaboration and innovation in mind, the office includes a purpose-built broadcast studio, enabling teams to produce and access in-house streaming content.

The new headquarters also features a mix of functional and social workspaces, including conference rooms, private meeting booths, a central Townhall area, and breakout zones. Conveniently located just ten minutes on foot from Leeds Station, the site gives staff easy access to nearby cafes, retail outlets, bike storage and an on-site gym — all part of the West Village ecosystem.

Evoke’s move follows similar investment in the city by fellow gambling giant Flutter Entertainment, which opened a Leeds office in 2021 — the home city of CEO Peter Jackson.

Reflecting on the move, Rik Barker, Group Chief Information and Technology Officer at Evoke, said:

“St Johns has been our Leeds home for over two decades, but now is the right time for a change. We are extremely excited to share our plans to create a purpose-built space that better reflects who we are today; collaborative, innovative and forward-looking.

“We’re particularly proud to be introducing a new studio that will open up creative opportunities for our teams and connect even more closely with our audiences, both in-store and online. This is an exciting moment for our colleagues and a further demonstration of our long-term commitment to Leeds.”
