Frankie Dettori Named as Stake’s First Horse Racing Ambassador
Following a decorated 40-year career in the saddle, Dettori will now represent Stake in a number of campaigns, including fan engagement initiatives, sports betting content, and racing tips and news shared via the Stake platform.

Legendary jockey Frankie Dettori has been unveiled as Stake’s inaugural Horse Racing Ambassador, taking on a new role with the operator that will see him involved in a variety of promotional and fan-focused activities.
Following a decorated 40-year career in the saddle, Dettori will now represent Stake in a number of campaigns, including fan engagement initiatives, sports betting content, and racing tips and news shared via the Stake platform.
Commenting on the partnership, Dettori said:
“I’m really excited to be working with Stake and to be part of such a thrilling team. They’re a big name in sports and work with some of the biggest and most exciting athletes and teams, so I’m looking forward to coming on board and seeing what’s next!”
The appointment comes after a busy period for Stake. In June 2024, the company partnered with responsible gambling charity BetBlocker, signalling a commitment to safer gambling initiatives. However, more recently, Stake was instructed to withdraw from the UK market after a controversial video surfaced featuring an adult actress alongside Stake branding. Despite this, the operator continues as the front-of-shirt sponsor for Premier League club Everton.
This week, Stake also announced the launch of Stake Engine, a new platform for iGaming development that features a Remote Gaming Service (RGS) designed to support game developers.
