Altenar Partners with Czech Operator MerkurXTip CZ
Having initially established itself as a sportsbook provider in 2011, Altenar made its entry into the Czech market in 2024 and has since developed ongoing partnerships with Data.Bet and Kingsbet CZ.
Provider Altenar has secured a new agreement to supply Czech operator MerkurXTip with its fully-managed sportsbook solution, replacing the operator’s existing product.
The Merkur casino brand, formerly known as the Gauselmann Group, has been active since the 1970s and launched its online platform, MerkurXTip CZ, in 2022. Under this new partnership, Altenar will now take over the operator’s sportsbook offering with its advanced platform solution.

Expansion into Regulated Markets
Altenar continues to expand its presence in regulated markets, having recently obtained a B2B supplier licence for Denmark in January 2025.
MerkurXTip CZ’s CEO, Stanislav Sopko, also shared his thoughts on the deal, commenting:
