Betsson Awarded Brazilian Local Gaming Licence

Online gaming group Betsson has secured a local licence to operate in the Brazilian market, allowing it to offer online casino and sports betting services with immediate effect.

The company is now officially authorised to operate in one of the world's largest and most recently regulated gaming markets. Betsson has been active in the region for over a decade and already holds licences in other key Latin American markets, including Argentina, Colombia, and Peru.

"We welcome the introduction of a local regulatory framework in Brazil and are pleased to have obtained a licence,” said Pontus Lindwall, president and CEO of Betsson AB.

“This step aligns with our strategy to grow via geographical expansion, and we look forward to offering Brazilian customers a secure and high-quality gaming experience."
