Indiana Kicks Off 2025 Strong with 3% Rise in Sports Betting Revenue

Sports betting revenue in Indiana, US, increased by 3% year-on-year in January, reaching $55.1 million, according to the latest report from the Indiana Gaming Commission.

This figure was up from $53.5 million in January 2024 and marked a 74.9% month-on-month surge compared to December’s $31.5 million. Total betting handle for January stood at $538.7 million, reflecting a 12.1% year-on-year increase from $480.6 million but a 4.4% decline from December’s $563.6 million.

Meanwhile, sports betting taxes in Indiana for December amounted to $5.2 million, up 3% year-on-year and 74.9% month-on-month.
