SBC Summit Rio 2025 to Make Bold Return with Big Opportunities
Timed to coincide with Rio’s iconic carnival, the summit promises not only business opportunities but also a unique cultural experience for international attendees.

SBC Summit Rio is set to make a powerful return in 2025 at Riocentro, Latin America's largest convention center, after its impressive debut in 2023. The expanded event, running from February 25-27, is expected to draw 15,000 attendees, including 6,000 operators and 1,500 affiliates, making it the premier gathering for industry professionals looking to explore Brazil’s burgeoning gambling market.
Timed to coincide with Rio’s iconic carnival, the summit promises not only business opportunities but also a unique cultural experience for international attendees. The move to Riocentro allows SBC to host 400 exhibitors and sponsors, alongside two newly added events: the Affiliate Leaders Summit and Payment Expert Summit, each with dedicated spaces for a more focused experience.
Rasmus Sojmark, CEO & Founder of SBC, remarked:
“SBC Summit Rio will be the most significant and largest event in Brazil’s gaming and sports betting industry. It’s the first major event following Brazil’s new licensing and regulation changes, and with attendance expected to triple, the possibilities here are endless."
The summit will span 70,000 square meters, featuring a 40,000-square-meter exhibition floor, the Amphitheatre for keynote sessions, and the festival-style INFINITY Rio closing party. Located in the Barra da Tijuca district, attendees will enjoy the nearby beaches, shopping, dining, and convenient accommodation options, including the adjacent 4-star Lagune Barra Hotel.
Over 250 expert speakers will delve into Brazil’s fast-evolving gambling landscape, with industry leaders such as Alex Fonseca (Superbet), Andre Gelfi (Betsson), and Bruno Guilherme (Viradabet) among those slated to appear. Key discussions will focus on regulatory changes, AI’s role in brand development, localized marketing, and evolving payment systems.
Networking opportunities extend beyond the conference, with evening events in iconic locations, including a special party at Estádio Olímpico Nilton Santos, offering attendees a world-class networking experience.
Sojmark concluded:
“This event is about bringing together top executives from Brazil and beyond to shape the future of the industry in this amazing country. With the market still in its early stages, the opportunity to connect with these leaders can be a game changer.”
