Allwyn Relocates International Office from Czech Republic to Switzerland
The move is not expected to affect Allwyn’s lottery and gaming operations or its workforce in the Czech Republic.

Global lottery operator Allwyn has announced the relocation of its Allwyn International a.s. (AIAS) entity office from the Czech Republic to Switzerland, effective from 1 October. The business is now operating under Swiss law with a new legal name: Allwyn International AG.
The move is not expected to affect Allwyn’s lottery and gaming operations or its workforce in the Czech Republic.
In conjunction with the relocation, €500 million in 3.875% senior secured notes due in 2027, previously issued by AIAS, have been transferred to UK-based Allwyn Entertainment Financing Plc, which now acts as the substituting issuer. The UK entity will continue to serve as the issuer and borrower of Allwyn’s bonds and loans, while AIAS becomes the guarantor of the notes due in 2027. These notes remain guaranteed under a pari passu agreement, which provides equal standing with other debts covered by Allwyn's 2020 intercreditor agreement.
Earlier this year, Allwyn solidified its position as a major player in the UK lottery market by officially becoming the National Lottery Operator, following the £6.5 billion licence granted by the UK Gambling Commission in 2022.
