Pay4Fun Takes Spotlight at Sports Integrity Summit: Laws and ESG in Focus

The Third Sports Integrity Summit, hosted by GovRisk and sponsored by Genius Sports and Entain, seeks to address integrity issues in the sports betting industry. It will gather prominent figures from the iGaming sector to tackle the ongoing fight against match-fixing.

The event will feature an expanded agenda, with increasing emphasis on environmental, social, and governance (ESG) matters, such as education, gender equality, and racial diversity within sports integrity.

Pay4Fun CEO Leonardo Baptista will participate in the panel “From Regulation to Implementation: Navigating Brazil’s New Sports Betting Law,” where he will explore how the new regulations impact payment methods in the betting industry—a key issue for the future of financial transactions in an increasingly regulated market.

The panel, scheduled from 3:15 pm to 4 pm, will provide a comprehensive analysis of the effects of the new regulations on both businesses and consumers.

Alongside Leonardo Baptista, the panel will include notable guests such as Regis Dudena, Secretary of Prizes and Betting at the Ministry of Finance; Udo Secklemann, attorney for Bichara e Motta; Daniela Castro of Pacto Pelo Esporte; and Rafael Marcondes, legal director at Rei do Pitaco. These experts will delve into the regulatory and operational challenges of implementing Brazil's new betting law.

As the sports betting industry continues to evolve rapidly, understanding the impact of these new regulations on the market is crucial. This summit offers professionals the ideal opportunity to stay informed about regulatory developments and contribute to shaping the future of betting in Brazil.

The Third Sports Integrity Summit will take place this Thursday (5) at the Football Museum, Charles Miller Square, São Paulo.
