Lithuania's Gaming Market Sees Significant Growth in H1 2024
The online gaming sector experienced a strong performance, with revenue increasing by 12.5% year-on-year to €72.2 million. Player spending also rose by 8.7%, reaching €1.05 billion, with winnings totaling $973.1 million.

Figures from the Lithuania Gaming Control Authority reveal that revenue for the first half (H1) of 2024 surpassed the €108.5 million reported during the same period last year.
Online Market Performance
The online gaming sector experienced a strong performance, with revenue increasing by 12.5% year-on-year to €72.2 million. Player spending also rose by 8.7%, reaching €1.05 billion, with winnings totaling $973.1 million.
Online Slots Dominate Lithuania's Gambling Scene
Category A online slots, which offer unlimited winnings, emerged as the most lucrative segment, generating €53.5 million in revenue. This made them the top-performing category in both the online and land-based markets. Player spending on these slots also set a market high of €627.7 million, reflecting a 6.2% increase.
Meanwhile, revenue from Category B online slots, which feature maximum stakes of LTL1 (€0.3) and capped winnings at 200 times the customer's bet, remained stable at €1.8 million for H1. Online table games also saw growth, with revenue rising 11.7% year-on-year to €6.7 million.
The sports betting segment recorded modest gains, with revenue increasing by 1.6% to €19.3 million, while player wagers grew by 2.4% to €289.0 million.
