Golden Matrix Group, a social gaming, esports and white label provider, has joined forces with Amelco to create a sportsbook for the Indian market. 

The sports betting operator, which is yet to be named, is said to be a significant industry player. 

The brand believes this collaboration to be the beginning of a long-standing relationship and various other projects for the Asian market. 

The launch of this sportbook will coincide with the start of the new Indian Premier League (IPL) cricket season.

“This is a significant opportunity for the company, enabling us to enter one of the world’s largest markets with a new and compelling sportsbook product,” Golden Matrix chief executive Brian Goodman said. 

“Cricket is not only part of Indian culture that has one of the world’s largest populations, currently 1.3 billion people, but also has 2-3 billion fans across India, UK, Pakistan, Asia, Sri Lanka, Zimbabwe, West Indies, Australia, New Zealand and Africa.”

While this project is expected to enhance Golden Matrix’ name in the Asian igaming industry, it will give the brand further clout as it ventures into many US markets. 

“Since we began our collaboration and distribution agreement with Amelco, we have seen significant interest from both current and prospective clients in adopting this dynamic sportsbook engine with associated managed trading services,” Goodman said

“Fully integrated into our GM-X industry-leading B2B technology platform, this new sportsbook offering can now be deployed via numerous gaming operators globally.”
