An Interview with Lorand, Softgenius' CEO

Hi, great to meet you! Tell us about SoftGenius and your position within the business.

Great to meet you, too and thank you for having us. I'm Lorand R. Minyo, CEO of SoftGenius, the newest casino platform provider. We started building SoftGenius exactly one year ago with the goal of raising the bar even higher in the iGaming industry by doing things a little bit differently: we've pulled together industry experts, almost exclusively senior technology professionals, and acquired all the knowhow we possibly could — and it seems that our bets paid off.

What separates SoftGenius from its competitors, in your opinion?

From the wealth of data we have, we know what differentiates SoftGenius from the established actors is a healthy disregard for the impossible, a bleeding-edge technology stack, and execution speed. We've been able to launch an entire platform in under a year with only 10% of the resources of our competitors; also, we're sticklers for maintaining a close and healthy relationship with our partners, so it's quite common to see us fly down to a partner halfway across the continent for a dinner.

We hear you have just completed your first casino venture. Can you tell our readers about this?

The very first casino we've built for Boss Partners is cashwin.com, a jungle-themed site that we optimized to its very core.

Cashwin is our showcase of what our platform is capable of, starting from the seamless design and UX to its customized and personalized suggestions that use AI to learn player behavior and change the site experience based on their preferences. All in all, Cashwin is what the revolution in iGaming will start looking like from 2023 onward.

What was the driving force behind this venture?

Everyone involved in SoftGenius already had a wealth of experience in the industry, and we've always seen its shortcomings, so we decided to roll up our sleeves and do something about it. After all, the best way to predict the future is to invent it.

What does the future hold for SoftGenius in the coming years?

All departments have backlogs that span at least 2 years into the future, so we're pretty confident that we have all the right ingredients in place to make SoftGenius a strong player in the space; we're looking into expanding our AI footprint and adding on top of our platform a plethora of features that enable players to have an even more appealing experience and operators to focus more on the things that matter the most to them.

What do you envisage being the biggest opportunities and challenges in the igaming space in the next 12 months?

By far, the biggest opportunity is more people having Internet access than ever and players being more responsible. This creates the perfect environment for innovation and responsibility for everyone involved.

The challenges, however, will be offering players a more immersive and safe experience.
