We know that Mate Affiliates is a unique brand with a distinct offering. What advice would you give to igaming businesses using PR to start out in an ever-crowded market?
Whether they are new on the market or have many years of experience in the field, it's essential to focus on building a solid brand identity and using a message that keeps them apart from their competitors. This means identifying their unique selling points, understanding their target audience, and crafting a narrative that resonates with their stakeholders. Additionally, investing in a multi-channel PR strategy that includes social media, content marketing, and media relations is important. These tactics can help increase brand awareness, build credibility, and foster trust both with current and potential industry partners.
iGaming events in 2023 (so far) have seen record numbers in attendance. How important is attending in-person events and conferences to marketing your business?
Yes, that's true; our team exhibited this month at iGB and attended ICE. We had the pleasure of meeting many interesting people, and our team really enjoyed the entire time spent in London. Also, our agenda is already booked with many events this year, so if you didn't meet us till now, we promise you'll have the chance this year :D

These events provide an opportunity to meet face-to-face with current and potential partners and offer a chance to stay up-to-date on the latest industry trends, technologies, and regulations. By attending them, businesses can gain valuable insights and networking opportunities that can help them stay ahead of the competition and identify new business opportunities.
The importance of PR for B2B companies is obvious. But should PR be at the top of a B2C igaming business' priority list?
For B2C businesses, PR should be a top priority, as it plays a crucial role in building and maintaining a positive brand image, increasing brand awareness, and fostering customer loyalty. In a highly competitive market, where customers have many options to choose from, a strong PR strategy can help businesses stand out from the crowd and attract and retain loyal customers.
On the other hand, B2B businesses also should prioritize PR to build credibility with their industry partners and establish themselves as strong leaders in the market.
Do you want a strong brand identity? It's hard to have your business name well-known and respected by customers and partners without practical marketing and PR efforts. Conversely, excellent PR efforts are of little value if your brand fails to deliver on its promises. It's important to remember your business and its image go hand in hand. Always.
How important is company image when creating working partnerships?
The image is incredibly important. A company's image is the sum of its reputation, brand identity, and public perception. When entering into a partnership, the image of each company is under scrutiny, and any negative perception can reflect poorly on both parties. Therefore, businesses must highlight their image and reputation by investing in a strong PR strategy that showcases their values, expertise, and reliability. A positive image can help establish trust, build stronger relationships, and create more successful partnerships.
